My personal choices for Wedge:
Wedge aged 14-24: Joseph Mazzello.
Wedge aged 25-34: Edward Norton.
Wedge aged 35 (SoA)-45: Ben Miller. (British comedian)
Wedge aged >45: David Strathairn. Or of course Denis Lawson (who recently turned 64).
In an alternate universe where Wedge speaks Cantonese, then Tony Leung Chiu Wai please.

Edward Norton was made for this part – yes, he’s a little old, but he’d still be perfect. Besides, he doesn’t look his age.

If I was casting this film I would stick as many of the original cast as I could. It would not be a Star Wars movie without the originals in it.

I think the edward furlough (from American History X) would be great as Wedge. He just seems to have the attitude to pull off the Rebellion’s greatest fighter pilot (Luke not withstanding).
