Anyway, here goes: Brian: good catch! It's a streamlined new helmet style, but you're absoltely right: Syal's using the same "helmet art" as Wedge! Caleb: indeed. And that's why he gets an image here! Michael: check out "Star Wars: The Essential Readers' Companion" by Pablo Hidalgo, which has most of those characters looking awesome in it. Erisi Dlarit was one more pilot we thought about including here, but we opted for characters who weren't limited to straightforward movie-era X-wing and TIE costumes; also, there ARE a couple of cute official illustrations of her out there already: she shows up at the front of the Japanese translations of the X-wing novels, and in an "Insider" article in 2002 by my awesome WARFARE co-author, Jason Fry. Johnny Z: Jag and Soontir both have a *lot* of illustrations to their names, and Jag was featured on this very blog in a full-scale Chris Trevas illustration not so long ago: http://star-wars.suvudu.com/2012/02/the-beat-of-the-heart-star-wars-kisses.html Khabarakh: VERY good catch! The key reference is the Jedi armour that Obi-Wan and Anakin wore during the Clone Wars, but that gives it a close relationship to Vader's armour, and I'm pretty sure Jaina would approve of a reference to Mara, her own Jedi Master, too!
