I don't care for the cover art myself, but it's ok. Timothy Zahn is the master, and Mara Jade is the best Star Wars Expanded Universe character ever created. Too bad about her "later years' in the series and what happened. Sad, just sad. Never should have happened. Oh well, at least Tim has written another "early life" snapshot of my favorite character -- ever. Keep it up, Mr. Zahn; I am not-so-patiently awaiting the next adventure with my favorite feminine hero. Thank goodness more games have been expanding into female characters a bit. Besides being able to create/play as a female hero, one of the best NPCs to come along in years is in Mass Effect 2: well, there are two of them, actually. Tali is great, but Miranda Lawson reminds me a little of Mara Jade: tough, uncompromising in her beliefs, and just kicks butt everywhere she goes. Great job!! Real life heroines!
